Last weekend, I headed off to Grazing at Gundaroo. Around 40 minutes north-west of Canberra, it is a nice day trip. The reward when you get there is spectacular countryside, and top-notch food.
We had three courses: lentils, sardines, lamb, Snapper, bread and a side of fries, and a creamy citrus curd dessert.
Entrees are all $17 each, mains $33 and dessert $16. Bread is served per head at $2.50 each and sides $8. You can find the menu here.
All of the food was fresh and absolutly delicious, with portion sizes that were satisfying without being overwhelming. The perfect place to spend an afternoon with friends, or lovers.
